Weekly Prayer Meeting

This weeks local meeting will be held in on Tuesday 8th in Newtowngore Church where everyone will be most welcome.

Mothers' Union

Its Pantomime time once more for the M.U. we will all meet up at the theatre at 7.30 on Wednesday 9th. The show will start at 8.00pm. .

Ballyconnell Christmas Whist Drive

On Thursday 10th at 8.30 p.m.. Parishioners are asked to provide food and also to help at the supper. A small gift towards filling the Christmas Hamper would also be appreciated. Please leave donations with Joan Breiden before 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Sunday 6th December at 7.30pm with choir of Dungannon Royal School. Readers from Cavan Royal school. All welcome.

Senior Citizens Dinner & Dance

The Senior Citizens Dinner & Dance will start at 5.30 pm.on Saturday 12th for all the older members of the group.
All ages invited and very welcome to join the fun from 7pm!! For details of gifts to help the event along please see the November newsletter.

Bawnboy Community Alert

On Monday 14th the Bawnboy Community Alert A.G.M. takes place in the Templeport Resource Centre at 8.30 p.m.
In order to guarantee the continuity of this service to the Senior Members of our Community in the Bawnboy Garda District it is essential that new people will attend on the night, especially those with elderly relatives living in the area.

George Hamilton IV Christmas Concert

Our thanks to all who supported the George Hamilton IV Concert last Wednesday in Templeport. €400 was presented to Trevor Mckay for the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland (Cavan) & Freda Carson Fermanagh Alzheimers Society.

Sustentation Reminder

To comply with new charities legislation may we gently encourage people to ensure their Sustentation / Free Will offerings are with parish treasurers by the last Sunday of the year – ideally the Sunday before - 20th December. If we can comply with this request items can be banked before the end of the financial year. If it is not lodged, by law we will be unable to include this in the 2009 accounts. We would be most grateful if you can save treasurers' time and embarrassment by supporting them in this task. Once again a huge thank you for your vital support in giving to the Church.
