Easter day
Daybreak. For the early risers a service at dawn!!
Here’s a way to create a powerful Easter memory! We welcome the glory of the Easter resurrection outdoors on a hillside on Easter morning. We will have a short service with hymns reading and talk. The venue will be near the end of the Gortalughany scenic route - about 1 mile out of Swanlinbar on the Enniskillen Road just past Cassidy's Cross, 1st turn on the left signed Gortalughany. We will park at the new Clements house at 6am.. This will give us time to walk the 1/2 mile up to the venue where we pray for a wonderful view! Sunrise is around 6.30am. Those unable to walk the 1/2 mile up can be taken via minibus to the car park at the top. Our planned venue is 100 yards from this. Refreshments are available after the service at the new Clements house.
Please see the table below for other Easter Day Services.
Easter Day Evening 6pm
A family walk recreating the Road to Emmaus! -
(a story when a stranger walked with the disciples)
These details have been changed with a shorter route to allow as many as possible to join in. Park at Harold and Betty Taylor’s home between Newtowngore and Corrawallen and we will walk the mile and a bit up to Corrawallen Church. On the way children can hunt for Easter egg clues with some surprises on the way! The story finishes in Corrawallen Church with a very short informal service. |
